Lauren Cheatham

Lauren Cheatham is a behavioral scientist and Principal Quantitative Researcher leading creator and engine research. She received her PhD in consumer behavior at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and also has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Northwestern University. Prior to Roblox, Lauren was a quantitative researcher at both Instagram and Apple and spent a couple of years as a Professor of Marketing at the University of Hawaii’s Shidler College of Business. She started her career as a professional equestrian, obviously.

Zack is a five-time Roblox Intern and now full-time software engineer. Check out one of Zack's community projects, Lua Learning, which won a Bloxy Award for "Most Educational Game."

Community Apprentice - Software Engineer Intern

The Community Apprenticeship Program is a 12-week learning opportunity crafted to develop and mentor individuals from our creator community who are passionate about creating tools and systems that better the overall Roblox community experience. As a community apprentice, you will work on the Lua-based systems and infrastructure that power the front-ends of the Roblox client and studio applications. You will have an opportunity to work on a high impact team that is focused on improving the Roblox Engine.
